This course provides instruction in adult hands-only CPR training with AED instruction for adults and children. This training is recommended for people who witness a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an "out-of-hospital" setting (such as at home, work, or in a park).

The mission of the Greater Williamsburg HEARTSafe Alliance is to SAVE LIVES by improving the survival rate of sudden cardiac arrest in James City County, York County, City of Williamsburg, and City of Poquoson. The Alliance works to exceed standards of engagement through citizen education, hands-only CPR training and awareness of AED access while promoting a healthy community.

 

HEARTSafe CPR/AED training will not result in professional certification and is not appropriate for those occupationally required to have CPR/AED training.
